Binder Lab by 2Star Studio · last updated 22 October 2026 (ads added)
Binder Lab (2starstudio.com), run by OTB Vision LLC, is a tool for planning Pokémon card binders. This page explains what it keeps about you and why. In short: your binders, and if you sign in, your name and email so we can keep them on your account. We don't sell your data.
Without an account
- Your binders and settings are saved in your own browser (local storage). They aren't sent to us.
- Card pictures and card details load from TCGdex, a free card database, which sees your IP address like any website you load images from.
If you sign in with Google
- Google tells us your name, email address and profile picture, and an account id. We use them only to recognise you and show who's signed in.
- Your binders (their names, pages and the cards in them) are saved to your account so they appear on every device you sign in on.
- We keep a sign-in session for up to 60 days in a cookie on your device. Our database only stores a scrambled (hashed) copy of it.
- We don't get your Google password, and we don't ask for access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts or anything else in your Google account.
Smart (AI) search
When you use Smart search, the words you type are sent to Google's Gemini AI service to work out what you mean. The search text isn't linked to your account. Google's free Gemini service may use these requests to improve its products. Answers are kept for a week so the same search is instant next time.
To keep to the daily limit (10 Smart searches, or 100 for Supporters) we count how many you've made today: against your account if you're signed in, otherwise against a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address. Only the count is kept, not what you searched, and old days are deleted.
Supporter payments
If you become a Supporter, payment is handled by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record and collects the billing address it needs to work out tax. Stripe collects your card details and billing information; we never see your full card number. We keep your Stripe customer id, whether your plan is active and when it renews, so we can turn off ads and raise your search limit. See our terms of service for prices and refunds.
Ads
Free users see ads served by Google AdSense. Supporters don't see ads, and the ad code isn't loaded for them at all.
- Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners show you ads based on those visits.
- You can turn off personalised ads in Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of some other companies' personalised ads at aboutads.info.
- If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you're asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time.
- How Google uses data from sites that show its ads: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Where it's stored
The site runs on Cloudflare. Accounts and saved binders are kept in a Cloudflare database. Cloudflare keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses and errors) to run and protect the site.
Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived one during sign-in to protect it. Free users who see ads also get Google's advertising cookies (see “Ads” above); Supporters don't. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages.
Deleting your data
- Delete binders from the site at any time; when signed in, that change is saved to your account too.
- To delete your account and everything saved with it, email us at the address below and we'll remove it.
- Signing out removes the sign-in cookie. Binders you had stay in that browser until you delete them.
Children
Binder Lab isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Questions or deletion requests: twostarstudio1@gmail.com.
